How Can I Talk To My Children About My Cancer Diagnosis? PART 2

Writer's picture: Mr Sunil JassalMr Sunil Jassal

It's such a common question: "How do I tell my kids about my breast cancer diagnosis?" My previous post generated a great deal of discussion amongst my patients so I thought I'd share a resource which I think is just fabulous. Medikidz comics are written by doctors and are specifically directed at pre-teen children. The breast cancer edition is available through Breast Cancer Network Australia with their "My Journey Kit". This is a free information resource we make available to all our patients. "Medikidz Explain Breast Cancer" can be requested with the Kit (or can be purchased through the Medikidz website).
